Weight loss has become a bit of an obsession for me. It started when I joined a private gym and started seeing a La Habra personal trainer three times a week. Before that I had been a couch potato for over a decade. All of the muscle that I had from the time I spent as a college athlete were long gone, replaced with a nice layer of fat. I was totally out of shape and it was depressing.
I tried here and there to get myself back into shape with programs like P90X and I even went to a great La Habra Boot Camp, but none of it worked quite as well as I hoped that it would. I would lose weight here and there, but I never had the sustained results that I was after. I found that I finally got results when I got personal training and the accountability that it brings. The weight loss was quick and it has stayed off – and I feel better than I have in years.
